  • Installation Manager

    Installation Manager

    Full time 

    Founded in 1977, Planteria has evolved from a small startup into the UK largest interior landscaping company it is today, with an impressive annual turnover of £20 million. With a focus on strategic partnerships, continuous innovation and client satisfaction, the company has accelerated its growth in the past 3 years and achieved a 33% year-on-year growth over this period, and now employs over 150 staff.

     

    Responsible for the successful management of the installation team and scheduler, for the delivery of all installation projects on time as agreed with customers. Working in line with commercial project specifications (which vary in size, and complexity), monitor processes and products to ensure cost effective measures are in place to stay within the department budget.

    Focus on quality and continuous improvement and ensure all installation projects are efficiently completed in line with business growth.

    Develop and update detailed installation schedules, optimise lead times and maximise team efficiency.

     

    1.      Full line management responsibilities of Installation Technicians and Scheduler, fostering a safe, productive and positive work environment. Oversight of installation sub-contractors, ensuring they follow Planteria quality standards and compliance requirements`

    2.      Validate and oversee project specification from sales order initiation to identify complexity, overcome challenges and allocate appropriate resource

    3.      Take a collaborate approach with commercial, procurement and production to achieve a “first time right” installation for all projects.

    4.      Ensure ongoing communication is in place between installation team and clients until projects are successfully installed

    5.      Measure successes and challenges of all installation projects, analyze trends and revise processes as and where required

    6.      Set-up and introduce relevant KPIs for the department  

    7.      Optimize resources and manage costs to stay within agreed annual installation budget

    Requirements

    1.      Strong line management skills with remote teams working on multiple sites

    2.      Project management skills, some experience with project management software

    3.      Customer service skills, ownership of critical issues or customers

    4.      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, working with a wide variety of stakeholders

    5.      Planning and organisation skills; able to prioritize, multitask effectively and execute strategic decisions

    Agile approach to determine fast alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules or logistical challenges of live projects

    This role is the ‘first port of call’ for all customer related contact. They provide support for the installation, field service and floristry teams.

    1. To take service-related calls and emails for installation, field service, and floristry

    2. To triage queries from customers and direct them to the relevant department/ individual

    3. To coordinate responses to clients regarding queries and issues

    4. Update Business Central with correct customer information

    5.      To administer, develop and manage NPS process including providing feedback to relevant departments to deliver exceptional service levels and drive customer satisfaction to meet company targets. Provide data and analysis to the Head of Field Service.

    6.  To support Service team with ad-hoc requirements

    7. Attend weekly meetings to report back, share ideas and contribute

  • IT Support Engineer - 12 Month FTC

    IT Support Engineer

    Full time 

    Working with the IT Support Team Leader to maintain the systems and equipment across multiple offices remotely and in person, while being the first point of contact for internal IT queries, user hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.

    This role is not limited by just IT and the responsibilities will extend to other departments whenever analytical thinking and technical skill may be required. 

    1.      First response to IT issues (internal helpdesk)

    2.      Project task lists administration and following up with developers

    3.      Ordering hardware/licenses as required

    4.      IT Maintenance/troubleshooting

    Research and skill development when a need arises

      

    Requirements 

    ·         A desire for progress and innovation

    ·         Good level of IT hardware, software and network knowledge

    ·         An eye for detail

    ·         A willingness to learn all things IT and internal infrastructure

    ·         Analytical thinking

    ·         A positive, proactive attitude is required for this front-line role to handle the variable levels of workload

  • Commercial Admin Permanent And MAT Cover

    Commercial Admin 9 Month Maternity Cover

    To provide administration support to the Sales and Commercial department, the main role being processing orders for the department.

    To support and assist the Sales Managers where possible, in such a way that allows them to have as much free time as possible to develop and close new business opportunities.

    This is an exciting position and is part of a very vibrant and energetic team.  Sales activities have been fast paced, with a huge amount of opportunities still coming through; this is forecasted to increase even further throughout the coming months with our very ambitious growth plans.

    Processing sales orders for planting/floristry schemes from the sales team into Business Central to allow them to be ordered, installed and maintained.

    Processing cancellations, request notes and other contractual changes through to the wider business stakeholders via BC.

    Develop and constantly improve systems related to the role and team, to be more effective and efficient

    Take tasks through to completion with as little involvement from the Sales and Commercial Manager as possible – keeping them informed through reporting as necessary

    Where relevant, supporting Sales, Commercial Managers and Designers with tenders and costings for projects.

Our technicians provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the maintenance and care of office plants. This is an independent role which involves early starts each day, taking ownership for plant maintenance at several client sites, on a 3 week rota. Technicians are part of a regional team of like-minded plant specialists who meet regularly both online and in person.

    • Maintain to a high standard internal plant displays at a number of client sites every day
    • Provide excellent customer service, including completing site reports and maintaining accurate data in our company systems
    • Work with your line manager and scheduler to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently and accurately
    • Work safely and in line with all risk assessments and method statements

    Requirements:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Good problem solver
    • A passion for plants
    • Able to navigate London in a company van 
    • Comfortable working independently but able to share knowledge and information with the wider team
    • Able to orient yourself in large office buildings
