Anomaly
Anomaly is a ‘new model’ agency that goes beyond creating ads—they aim to solve real business challenges. With offices in major global hubs, their team of creatives is dedicated to breaking the status quo. As an award-winning group of progressive, diverse thinkers, they needed an office space that reflected their innovative spirit.
To revitalize their London offices, Anomaly partnered with Planteria Group. Collaborating with Rainbow Designs, we embarked on a journey to transform their workspace into an inviting biophilic oasis. The result is a space that inspires creativity, fosters well-being, and aligns with their forward-thinking vision.
This case study highlights the successful partnership between Anomaly and Planteria.

Working alongside Rainbow Designs,
Anomaly set out to create a dynamic and stimulating workspace for their employees. Planteria took the lead in designing and installing a planting scheme that not only enhanced the visual appeal of the office but also delivered natural benefits to support employee well-being.
Design Implementation
The design concept centered around using lush green plants paired with bold, textured planters to create a distinctive and engaging office environment. The combination of vibrant foliage and carefully selected planters helped transform the space into a workplace that feels fresh, inviting, and creatively inspiring.
Impressive textured planters
Biophilic design goes beyond simply adding plants—it’s about integrating natural elements that engage the senses. One effective way to achieve this is through the use of textured planters.
For Anomaly’s workspace, we selected planters crafted from natural materials such as stone, ceramic, and hessian. These materials introduced a tactile element to the design, reinforcing the connection to nature while adding depth and character to the office environment.
Trailing Scindapsus plants around the stairwell
The stairwell, a prominent feature within the office, provided a perfect opportunity to introduce a natural touch.
We incorporated trailing Scindapsus plants along the handrails, adding a sense of movement and vibrancy to the space while enhancing the connection to nature throughout the office.
Shelving planting with smaller plants
Another key aspect of the project involved making the most of the available shelving space. We arranged smaller plants on the shelves, creating mini-green oases throughout the office.
This approach not only introduced more greenery but also optimized vertical space, adding depth and dimension to the overall design.

Outcomes and Benefits
The integration of plants and planters completely transformed Anomaly’s London offices, providing a range of benefits to the workspace and its occupants:
A brilliant place to work
Anomaly is defined by its team of progressive, diverse thinkers who are always seeking something different. Their office design needed to reflect that spirit. Planteria helped bring this vision to life, creating a distinctive, welcoming environment that not only supports current employees but also helps the company stand out to potential talent.
Improved well-being & productivity
Interior plants have been proven to enhance well-being and reduce stress levels. After all, we spend, on average, 30% of our waking hours in the workplace. By incorporating natural elements, employees at Anomaly can feel more connected to nature—boosting creativity and promoting a sense of tranquility throughout the office.
Positive aesthetics & brand identity
Incorporating plants and visually appealing planters not only enhances the aesthetics of the space but also aligns with Anomaly’s brand identity of creativity, innovation, and pushing boundaries. The biophilic design makes a bold statement to clients and visitors, reinforcing the company’s forward-thinking approach.

The collaboration between Anomaly, Rainbow Designs, and Planteria successfully brought Anomaly’s vision to life. The result is a vibrant, green oasis that inspires and energizes employees, with a thoughtfully designed planting scheme that blends nature and contemporary design in perfect harmony.
By embracing biophilic design, the space nurtures creativity and supports employee well-being. The impact is clear—the photographs tell the story, illustrating the transformative power of plants in the workplace.
As Anomaly continues to thrive in their revitalized office, this project stands as an example of how biophilic design can elevate any workspace. Incorporating plants and planters isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about creating an environment where people feel connected, motivated, and refreshed.
Planteria is proud to have partnered with Anomaly and Rainbow Designs on this exciting project. We look forward to future collaborations and the opportunity to design more inspirational spaces.
